CLUB OUTINGS
ISLE of MAY June 2009
On the island we separated to do our own things but most, if not all managed to get photographs of puffins. This island allows great views of puffins but there are fewer terns; far fewer than the Farne Islands. As well as sea birds, there were lighthouses and great seascapes to photograph. We all enjoyed our picnics and the boat trips there and back which provided great views of sea stacks and cliffs with hundreds of nesting auks.
It's hoped that we will return next year.
