OPENING NIGHT
You will know that the new Camera Club season begins next Tuesday, 20th with our usual social get together. As well as meeting old friends we shall be keen to greet new members particularly those with little experience. If you know of anyone who wishes to learn how to take better pictures please bring them along. I hope that regular members will welcome these new recruits and ensure that they are made aware of what Haddington Camera Club has to offer.
You will be wanting to view the new equipment purchased with the grant from Awards for All. Our new projector will be in action and you will be welcome to bring any digital images you may wish to show preferably on a memory stick. There will be plenty of display space for prints too and I hope many of you will bring some of your recent work to show. Let’s proudly demonstrate what Haddington Camera Club is all about.

For those of you who are definitely signing up for membership this year it would be helpful if you could send your subscription to Mike Shakspeare before Tuesday to ease the crush around the Treasurer on the opening night. Full membership is unchanged at £30, concessions £20. Please send to:

Tea
Although a committee member will be in charge each week to provide the milk and biscuits for the tea break it will be helpful if members could make themselves available from time to time to help with the setting up, serving and washing up. I know that we have a number of fanatic washers up but don’t always leave it to these stalwarts!

Neil McIntyre lecture
I know that this event has come very early in the season (Thursday 29th September) but 8 tickets have been purchased for this event 4 of which have already been allocated. Make sure you speak to me on Tuesday should you require a ticket which will cost £6 payable to our Treasurer. First come, first served.
